You can connect more than one Arlo SmartHub or Base Station to a network if open Ethernet ports are available on your router. Each Arlo SmartHub or Base Station must be connected to your router using an Ethernet cable.

To install and set up your Arlo SmartHub or Base Station:

  1. Launch the Arlo Secure App.

  2. Tap Add New Device.

  3. Tap Base Station/Hub.

  4. Connect the SmartHub or Base Station to your Wi-Fi router using an Ethernet cable.
    Note: You must connect the SmartHub or Base Station to your router with an Ethernet cable before you power it on. The SmartHub or Base Station might not connect to your network if you power it on before connecting it to your router.

  5. Connect the power adapter to the SmartHub or Base Station and plug it into an electrical outlet.

  6. Some older model Base Stations have an On-Off button. Turn the Base Station on by pressing the On-Off button after you plug it into an electrical outlet.

  7. If you have a SmartHub or Base Station with one LED, wait for the LED to turn blue.
    If you have a Base Station with three LEDs, wait for the Power LED on the front of the Base Station to turn green.
    Continue to follow the in-app instructions to complete the set-up process.
